Bryant S. Greene, DMD, MPH

Dr. Bryant Greene is a native of Spruce Pine and developed an interest in dentistry as a patient in his uncle’s practice (Dr. Alan Ray). Dr. Greene holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University, a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from East Carolina University, and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from East Carolina University. Dr. Greene was the recipient of the Samuel L. Phillips Family Scholarship which was awarded on a basis of academic excellence, community service, and a strong commitment to provide dental care to residents of Yancey, Mitchell and Avery counties. During his dental training at East Carolina University, Dr. Greene served as Class President and was involved in numerous clinical and civic organizations.

 

In January of 2021, Dr. Greene purchased the practice and founded “Mt. Mitchell Dentistry” with the goal to provide the best possible care possible for patients in the area. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Greene has invested heavily in continuing education and advanced technology for the practice. Dr. Greene is an active member of Cerec Doctors and Spear Education. He loves participating in continuing education courses to enhance his abilities and stay up to date on all of the latest dental techniques and procedures. He is passionate about digital dentistry, dental implant placement/restoration, and the role that oral health plays in a patients’ overall health, self-esteem and relation to systemic conditions such as Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes Mellitus.  

 

In his spare time, Dr. Greene enjoys spending time with his wife Kaitlin, a Burnsville native, and their spoiled rotten Shih-Tzu. Dr. Greene also enjoys golf, fishing and watching APP State and Carolina Panther football.  In 2024, Dr. Greene and his wife welcomed their first child into the world, a son named Bennett.
